Novia UAS in Vaasa, Finland is the lead partner in the MinImpact project. Novia UAS has long experience working with boreal agricultural acid sulfate soils and testing mitigation strategies with different lime products and organic materials in both the laboratory and field. Novia brings a wide competence regarding soil microbiology and chemistry to the project.
Luleå University of Technology
Luleå University of Technology (LTU) in Luleå, Sweden is a partner in the MinImpact project. Luleå University of Technology has long experience working with boreal sulfide-rich soils. LTU brings wide competence regarding the amelioration of the geotechnical properties of sulfide-rich soils and mitigation of acid leaching to the project.
Dåva DAC (deponi- och avfallscenter)
Dåva DAC in Umeå, Sweden is a partner in the MinImpact project. Dåva is a waste handling company and the Umeå municipality's actor for depositing and handling of landfill residue within the region. The company is leading in treatment of sulfidic soils and has previously been involved in a great number of R&D-projects to improve its handling. Dåva DAC brings a wide competence regarding the investigation and handling of sulfidic soils to the project, both in regards to chemical stabilization and environmentally safe deposition.
Linnaeus University
Linnaeus University in Kalmar, Sweden is a partner in the MinImpact project. Linnaeus University has long experience working with acid sulfate soils and other acidic and neutral low-temperate systems and landscapes in the boreal zone. LNU brings a wide competence regarding acidophilic microorganisms and geochemical processes to the project.
